Response to Recent Legislation and BOG Regulations
The Office of Faculty Development and Advancement, with assistance from the Office of General Counsel, develops and disseminates guidance for faculty regarding new legislation that could impact their teaching or other responsibilities. Our office will also provide guidance on requirements brought about by recent Board of Governors (BOG) regulations and how the faculty will maintain compliance with them. Academic leaders (deans, chairs, and program directors) are kept informed of these issues through regular meetings and can provide a first point of contact for related questions.
