Academic Policy and Program Development

The Faculty Senate has the authority to determine and define University-wide policies on academic matters. The Office of Faculty Development and Advancement helps faculty and academic leaders interpret and implement these policies across the university. It also considers requests from deans for exceptions to certain policies.

In addition, the Office assists academic units in developing degrees, certificates, and other academic offerings.
