Bürge Abiral

I study how communities respond to environmental and economic challenges through collective efforts in sustainable food systems and alternative economies, with a focus on Turkey. My teaching explores the intersections of environment, economy, food, social movements, and gender, alongside introductory courses in anthropology.

James Cockerham

My research and teaching interests focus on law enforcement practices, criminal justice policy, and juvenile justice, with an emphasis on how evidence-based strategies and applied studies can improve outcomes for both communities and justice-involved individuals.

My interests are in supporting districts, schools and teachers with educating students with disabilities with the best practices in education.

Melissa Ace

An area of teaching interest for me is simulation in nursing education. I enjoy helping students build confidence and foster clinical judgement as they connect theoretical knowledge with application.

Stephen Mattingly

Among my various research and teaching interests related to the guitar, collaborative and interdisciplinary work in premiering new works, chamber music, Music Therapy, kinesthetics in instrumental performance, and the art of practice most recently occupy my attention.
