I'm a biostatistician that collaborates with faculty, staff, and students to answer research questions related to healthcare, biomedical research, and public health. 

My research focuses on preventing cardio-metabolic risk factors and health disparities in Black communities and populations with high comorbidities. As a principal investigator, I have developed and led educational interventions in collaboration with healthcare facilities and community organizations. 

My interests include medical student and graduate medical education.

I am a practicing internist.

I am currently practicing pediatrics.

My clinical and research interests are focused on the clinical management of difficult-to-treat depression and its correlates—including perinatal depression, perimenopausal depression, and occupational burnout—using randomized, observational, and asynchronous study designs. My current interests also lie in the integration of machine learning and digital health tools with standard clinical and research measures to improve the lives of patients struggling with major affective syndromes or symptoms. 

My clinical interests include minimally invasive surgery, evaluation and management of infertility, operative hysteroscopy: myomectomy/septum revisions, and multiples: twin antepartum and intrapartum care.

I enjoy working with students to build confidence, develop effective strategies, and improve their academic performance and bar passage outcomes. I am passionate about helping students enter the profession with purpose and look forward to partnering with faculty and staff to strengthen bar support programs and advance our shared commitment to student success.
