As an Assistant Professor of Urban Science at Florida State University, I investigate a fundamental question: How do the places we live in and the people we interact with shape our choices? My research develops advanced spatial models to uncover these complex relationships between context and human behavior.

At home in traditional recording studio environments, I enjoy working with singer-songwriters and a broad range of genres and collaborators. My research interests include topics in ear training and music production. I have published papers on the topics of music proficiency in sound recording technology programs, cloud-based music production, and technical ear training.
