Urban and Regional Planning

Mehak Sachdeva

As an Assistant Professor of Urban Science at Florida State University, I investigate a fundamental question: How do the places we live in and the people we interact with shape our choices? My research develops advanced spatial models to uncover these complex relationships between context and human behavior.

My previous research focused on public perceptions of local property taxes, land value capture mechanisms, and housing policy with a regional focus in the Americas.
