My specialty is Medieval Studies, particularly Old English language, literature, and law.

My research explores the leadership of past and present student activists who have reshaped educational institutions to reflect the cultural and linguistic assets of their communities. I teach courses on public rhetoric, community writing, and research methods in writing studies.
