I have a deep curiosity about biology and exploring the cellular and molecular mechanisms that drive life. I also have a passion for teaching, aiming to inspire students to explore, question and learn about the living world.
My interests are in arts marketing, leadership in the arts, artistic programming and strategic planning for arts institutions.
My work is in historic costume, apparel design, and digital textile design.
I will be teaching in the Counselor Education program. My work centers on preparing the next generation of counselors with the knowledge, skills, and ethical grounding necessary for competent and compassionate practice.
With over 25 years in education, including 15 years in educational leadership, my teaching and research interests center on advancing sustainable practices in school leadership, with a particular focus on teacher retention and professional development. I am committed to preparing future educational leaders to address the systemic factors influencing teacher efficacy, satisfaction, and longevity.
I am interested in providing students a space where they feel comfortable learning to think critically about psychological concepts and claims.
I will be teaching basic and advanced biochemistry courses.
I am passionate about advancing financial literacy, well-being, and planning through both research and teaching. My work focuses on behavioral finance, fintech adoption, retirement readiness, and inclusive personal finance education.
My creative activities include direction, choreography and performance in the entertainment industry. I also research depictions of violence in theatre and the ways in which movement is captured on camera.
