I am a licensed psychologist.
My clinical and research interests are focused on the clinical management of difficult-to-treat depression and its correlates—including perinatal depression, perimenopausal depression, and occupational burnout—using randomized, observational, and asynchronous study designs. My current interests also lie in the integration of machine learning and digital health tools with standard clinical and research measures to improve the lives of patients struggling with major affective syndromes or symptoms.
My research interests focus on assessing nutritional status across the life course and dietary supplement research.
As a clinical health psychologist, I develop, evaluate, and scale technology-assisted interventions to treat multiple risk behaviors that compromise health and well-being.
My research focuses on research methodology, including research design, measurement development and evaluation, and applied statistical analysis.
The goal of my research program and ICON-Health is to promote health and reduce diet-related chronic disease for all through nutrition.
