I conduct research on how the lobbying profession has changed over time and why. 

My research explores comparative politics and authoritarian politics.

My research focuses on applying experimental designs and statistical methods to a wide range of empirical questions in political science. I will teach graduate and undergraduate-level courses on experiments and data science.

Dr. Owens’s research interest is empirical legal research. 

Dr. Foster studies American political institutions using game theory and quantitative methods, with a particular substantive focus on executive power, Congress, the bureaucracy, and housing policy.
