My work is investigating voice-training methodologies through the lens of linguistics.  My research focuses on how voice trainers conceptualize theoretical aspects of voice and speech, which influence the way they practice and teach the subject in the classroom and how coaching practices happen in the industry. 

Ms. Martin’s research interests include the philosophy of aesthetics; the use of Artificial Intelligence and digital spaces in the creation of post-pandemic theatre; intervention theatre and autofiction in identity formation.

Mr. Maccarone’s teaching interests are in helping students explore and develop an effective and personalized acting process through physicality and text analysis.

Ms. Gillis was a performer for twenty years, most recently seen on Broadway in "Wicked." Her research as a director/choreographer has taken her all over the world creating shows for Broadway national touring companies, cruise ships, and regional theaters.

Ms. Copenhaver’s research seeks to develop methods to lower the entry barrier to advanced theatrical production topics, like scenic automation and structural design.
