My research is in soft materials characterization and development.

I am trained as both a chemical engineer and microbial synthetic biologist. I am interested in implementing an interdisciplinary approach combining computational and experimental methods for solving various engineering problems such as antibiotic resistance. 

My interests are in improving fundamental hydrogel design and addressing diseases associated with bone marrow.

Dr. Slauch’s research interests include thermodynamics, separations, mass and energy balances, chemical process design.

Dr. Mysona’s research interests involve computer simulation of soft materials including plastics, soaps, and biological materials.
