Dr. Spencer’s research interests include the art of the ancient Maya and museum studies.

Dr. Xu’s research interests include design and control of novel electric machines, power electronics, and digital technology for electrified transportation and renewable energy systems.

Dr. Van Leeuwen’s teaching interests include general philosophy courses, specialized courses at the intersections of philosophy and other disciplines in the cognitive sciences such as psychology, anthropology, and cognitive neuroscience.
