Dr. McNutt’s research investigates how plants respond to changes in their environment and whether these responses are beneficial to their growth or reproduction. Dr. McNutt works on a project designed to increase access to STEM majors for community college students transferring to four-year institutions.

Dr. Mahesha’s research interests include spectroscopy and microscopy, advanced nanomaterials, and cleanroom nanofabrication. 

Dr. Mithila’s research interests include Cloud Computing, Software Engineering, Cryptography, Geographic Information System (GIS) Programming, Geospatial Analysis and Web Development.

Dr. Sun’s research interests include network analysis, high-dimensional statistics, and semiparametric statistics.

Dr. Sarkar’s research interests are High Dimensional Bayesian Asymptotics, and Time Series Analysis.

Dr. Oleszek’s research primarily focuses on the development of the American West during the 18th,19th, and 20th centuries, featuring specialized studies in political, social, and cultural movements.

Dr. MacCormack's research centers on the cosmopolitan intellectual and social environment of early modern Tibet, especially the role of Buddhist thought and practice.

Dr. Dougherty's research interests focuses on how specific aspects of social media usage affect eating disorder risk with the goal of informing how social media can be used in a healthy manner. Dr. Dougherty will be teaching Eating Disorders and Abnormal Psychology courses this academic year.

Dr. Menon specializes in developing innovative MRI acquisition and analysis methods for studying the human brain. His interests include leveraging expertise in multimodal imaging techniques for neuro-imaging projects, investigating myofascial dysfunction, and developing MR Elastography techniques for body imaging applications.

Dr. Maranges’s research interests focus on understanding what facilitates personal well-being, cooperation, and morality. In particular, she studies the nature and implications of self-control, early developmental ecologies, and bias for individual and group flourishing.
