Ms. Robertson’s research interest is education of students with disabilities.

Dr. Sengupta’s research interests are broadly situated at the intersection of learning, collaboration and care. She is interested in understanding how collaborative learning systems infused with AI can be envisioned to bolster inclusion and accessibility. In parallel to prepare for the coming AI age another arm of her research will focus on Responsible AI training tools and curriculum across multiple contexts and domains. 

Ms. Wardally aims to empower educational districts and staff with focused coaching and mentoring, fostering an inclusive environment that propels all students, especially those with disabilities, towards academic excellence and independence.

Dr. Wawire’s research interests are reading across languages, second language acquisition, curriculum and instruction, foundational learning, multilingualism, and language of instruction policy.

Dr. Leventhal’s research interests are boosting doctoral student use of existing university resources and services, improving time from doctoral candidacy to graduation, and addressing doctoral student professional development.

Dr. Venters is part of the accreditation team in the Office of the Provost. 

Mr. Amacher’s teaching interest is bringing real-world financial planning experience to the classroom.

Ms. Goines’s teaching and service interests include digital media, production, and communication studies.

The majority of Dr. Hoffman’s research has focused on prevention as well as mental health-related health communication. He is teaching undergraduate and graduate courses at FSU-PC.

Dr. Pugh’s teaching interests focus on helping students develop effective communication skills as writers and speakers, and her research interests focus on adult literacy.

Ms. Boyd’s current research in her enrolled doctoral program in Organizational Leadership with Southeastern University includes Path-Goal Leadership Theory and how leader behavior affects vocational education student motivation.

Mr. Freeman is deeply passionate about empowering first-generation students through mentorship and dedicated support. His teaching and service focus on fostering professional development, leadership skills, and academic success.

Dr. Levaya specializes in applied qualitative research methodologies, international and comparative education, global refugee education and policy (with regional experience in East and South Asia), and education access and quality for first generation students.

Dr. Sheaib's approach to teaching is deeply rooted in the belief that a positive and engaging classroom environment fosters better learning outcomes. She strives to create a classroom where students feel encouraged to think critically and creatively, and where mistakes are seen as valuable learning opportunities. Moreover, she believes that as teachers, we serve as role models, and our energy and enthusiasm can significantly influence our students' attitudes toward the subject matter and life in general.

Dr. Hu's research interests include undergraduate student success, leadership education, and international education in higher education.

Ms. Hanna supports college students in their academic journey by providing guidance, resources, and encouragement tailored to their individual needs, ultimately fostering their success and personal growth.

Dr. Polic is especially interested in the history of children and youth and the ways in which they have been critical for global, large-scale processes like state and nation building, but also for questions related to education and entertainment.

Ms. Cox’s research interests include inclusive metadata practices, producing user friendly workflow documentation, and the transition of traditional bibliographic encoding standards to a linked data environment.

Ms. Windham’s research interest is cultural production in the American South.

Ms. Henning’s teaching interests center around integrating primary sources into curricula and encouraging students to analytically engage with university history in particular. Her research interests center around engagement in Special Collections & Archives, including the following topics: student engagement with University Archives resources, students experiences in and awareness of Special Collections & Archives at FSU, equitable access to rare and historical materials, and strategies for documenting student activities and experiences, particularly as a means to diversify the historical record.

Ms. Bailey’s research interests include the impact of librarian involvement on student success and the use of automation tools in systematic reviews and other types of evidence synthesis.
