"My experience as a participant in the ACC Academic Leadership Network program I found valuable on many fronts. The colleagues I met, inside and outside of my institution, have broadened, events provided opportunities to learn about various departments and programs and how they manage their academic structures, and the presentations and discussions given by Presidents and Provosts of each host institution offered unique perspectives. A highlight -- the group led project-based activities with colleagues which has, and continues to, foster new and developing relationships."

"Being part of the ACC Academic Leaders Network was extremely valuable. It provided me with an opportunity to learn and benefit from the experiences of others in my position at peer institutions and explore various leadership career paths. Also, through the project, I met several individuals interested in re-thinking how professors are evaluated, a strong interest of mine. This lead to me establishing an ad hoc committee within my department that proposed expanding the activities considered in the annual evaluation process, which was later adopted."
