Florida State University (FSU) seeks a visionary leader with a passion for higher education and a commitment to excellence to serve as the Vice President for Faculty Development & Advancement. After nearly a decade as the Vice President for Faculty Development and Advancement, Vice President Janet Kistner will step down from her post at the end of the 2024-2025 academic year. Dr. Kistner has held this important position since 2015, offering support to faculty members throughout their professional journeys, including assistance with the promotion and tenure process, nominations for prestigious awards, and leadership development. Assistant Provost Steve McDowell will chair a national search for Dr. Kistner’s replacement.
