The Office of the Vice President for Faculty Development and Advancement will be hosting the New Faculty Orientation for faculty on Monday, August 21, 2022 and Tuesday, August 22, 2023. New Faculty may sign up for benefits by attending one of two Benefits orientation sessions to be held on Monday, August 14, 2023, from 2:00 pm-3:30 pm and Tuesday, August 15, 2023, from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm at the FSU Training Center.

Insurance and retirement staff members will also be present during the New Faculty Orientation on Monday, August 21 and 22, 2023, to answer any questions regarding enrollment and plans. Additionally, you can reach our office at (850) 644-4015, retirement@fsu.edu, or insurance@fsu.edu.
Parking Permits
New Faculty members will need to have an active FSU ID to obtain a parking permit. Permits should be ordered on line at Transportation and Parking Services website. Representives will be available during New Faculty orientation on August 21 and 22 for new faculty to purchase gate gards and gate clickers. Gate clickers are available for $30 each. To pay via payroll deduction fill out the Remote Gate Opener Agreement.
FSU Card
To obtain your initial FSUCard, submit your card application and photo online through the FSUCard online photo submission system. If approved, you can pick up your FSU Card during new faculty orientation on August 21 and 22.
