Digital Course Accessibility

FSU continues its collective commitment to ensuring all online digital materials are accessible to every member of our campus community. Creating accessible digital content fulfills our legal obligations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and reflects our core values as educators by creating an environment where all students, staff, and visitors can fully engage with our academic materials.

Under updated U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) Title II regulations, public institutions are required to ensure that covered web content and mobile applications, including academic course content, meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards. The federal compliance date for these requirements is April 26, 2027.
