Gloria Colvin awarded inaugural Fred L. Standley Award

Gloria Colvin, Research Librarian at Strozier Library, has been awarded the first annual Fred L. Standley Award by the Friends of FSU Libraries Awards Committee. This award is given to recognize FSU's Academic Librarian of the Year. The criteria for this award is as follows:

Individuals nominated must demonstrate achievements in areas such as:

  1. Planning and implementing a campus library program of exemplary quality.
  2. Superior service to students and faculty on and off the campus.
  3. Service to local, state, national, and international library organizations.
  4. Significant research and publications.
  5. Mentoring of students, faculty, library staff, and library professionals.
