Academic Policies
Please note that all standard academic policies are currently in place, including the University Attendance Policy. (Refer to the Important Policies Memo.) Instructors may establish and enforce class attendance policies that are consistent with that policy. However, the ongoing spread of COVID-19, in addition to other infectious diseases, still calls for flexibility in accepting documentation from students who are advised to stay home to prevent further infection to others. Students who are self-isolating or in quarantine, yet are not experiencing significant symptoms, may be expected to keep up with course activities if the necessary material is available to them and the work can be done remotely.
